Axle wrap is a spring killer too. Stock Tacomas have more than their fair share of it. Have someone watch as you take off and then go in reverse to see if the pumpkin and driveshaft are rotating. If you see it, you might want a traction/anti wrap bar. If not, then different springs are the answer. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/patriot.gif" alt="" />
