I know if you take one of the wires off it will still run and have a slight vibe to it but it will not ideal like he says it does.

This is dropping one hole while the other three are firing at the correct time. Mix up the wires and fire those plugs at the wrong time in the cycle and it will indeed make it act like it is trying to jump out of the engine compartment and leave.
