I'm on the toyota web site right now tryin to build a 2wd access cab v-6 man 6 speed. Does not give the option.

Too bad a person can't get a 2wd v-6 6 speed man access cab, or 2wd double cab either.

I think I found it on a web site. http://www.toyota.com/vehicles/2005/tacoma/models_access_cab.html#

I was tryin to build one up and the choice was not there. Will go to dealer and look and ask for a 4x2 Access cab, v-6 manual prerunner.

From the sound of it, you already know much more than any salesperson will know <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> Oh well, it'll still be fun to look at them!

I lived out there from 82 to 90 and lived in Glendale, Peoria, Mesa, Scottsdale, use to wheel at Salt river rec ares and out by Red Mt. and over by Apache JunkYard. Been all over the area. Use to work for McDonnell Douglas/ Boeing, got a buddy whos really into wheeling out there, His name is Bill Robatil (sp), hes into Jeeps and has a Pro- rock crawler. Ya never know it's a small world. His daily driver jeep is a green CJ-7.

Red Mtn is all developed now. I don't even go the Rec area any more, I think it was being overrun and they fenced off much of it. Developers are moving towards Lake Pleasant now, if you can believe that? You don't see any more bolo ties here, or guys with a holster, I think half the folks are from SoCal.

WOW, has that place grown, you should have seen it back in 82 when I first got out there. Then in 84 when I got my first toy truck 4x4 3" rancho 33 BFGs, use to go out to salt rec area and white tank mt.s and surgar loaf. Use to go to a mountain area near Rosevelt lake with the ole CR500R Desert racer. I did the gilla bend grand prix. Anyway thanks for the update, happy trails, Tim.
