Same-as-stock ride height with the new springs should make no diff in rear brake action, right?.....Wrong.

The new springs might ride at stock height, but allow more rear lift when braking....more rear lift means less rear brake action because proportioning valve actuating rod and linkage ain't been properly modified to match rear spring reaction to forward weight shift.

Do some measuring and the math and see if the new springs work with stock rear brake linkage geometry on paper. The worst that will happen is you get a headache and dull an already dull pencil. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
