Low and behold, the packingslip does say QTY=2. The question still remains, why did the parts guy (not Merlin) want me to buy 2 gaskets. Oh well, that's water under the bridge.... now I have new problems.

Firstly, I want to thank everyone for helping me get through the upper IMG replacement. After firing her back up, the sucking sound still persisted and I have identified the lower IMG as also being bad <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/angry.gif" alt="" />; a little more carb cleaner confirmed this. Fortunately, this wasn't all in vain since the upper IMG was also leaky indeed. I have started a new thread on the lower IMG topic here. I'd sure appreciate any input on this repair as well. Thanks again!
