Post state and if your state requires tire coverage. Cause I really wanna move just because of this. It's not like the good ole days of AZ when anything goes.

Pennsylvania requires for tire tread to be covered by fender or a maximum 6" fender flare extension (like I have).

Yeah I know it protects the cars behind you but do you know how cool it looks with a toyota and 38's running full width dana 60's.

Ohio doesn't. Not around here in Cincinnati at least. I've been pulled over a few times and they only give me a hard time about bumper height.

Don't move to Mass.
Anything lifted over 4" - suspension and tires combined - won't legally pass safety inspection. I luck out because mine just looks like a 4wd truck with a slight lift.
As for tire coverage, yes it's gotta be there.

Nope, but if you're a commercial rig going up the Haul Road, it's yes plus mudflaps because of serious rock damage.

Napoleon047, I hear ya, Hey guess what? Hows flat river these days?? , Yeah thats right I grew up around that neck of the woods. We, The F-250 farm boys and their mud bogger truck with calcium filled (like farm tractors)tires would run down by flat river and all around there and southern Il.

actually, never been to st joe state park. im from st joseph, its about an hour north of KC. i go to school at MU in columbia and do my fair share of wheeling at a local orv park. not much mud bogging though, that gets really old really fast.

...lot of reasons not to do that... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

AFAIK, Colorado doesn't have coverage laws, so some of the more socialist cities and 'burbs might. Mine stick out a couple of inches, and I've not been hassled in 4 years.

Thats what I wish I could do, seen some out in AZ when I lived out there full width's under a toy or nissan. The chevy s-10 line look pretty neat also with full widths and a sas done to them.

Only thing in AZ is all lifted trucks need mudflaps that good down to at least level with the axle.

I don't run flaps but I do have a 1in BL and cranked TBars. No cop has ever hassled me about it.
