Should I ever need to renew the lovely Red Chili's skin color, it will be something like the current Marine camo. Should be pretty tuff.

Just the thing for urban commutes to facilitate lane changes... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/evil.gif" alt="" />

Getting the Wheeling Fever
I totally dig it... I love to see that kind of personal expression in a vehicle.

You didn't use rattle cans for the olive drab, did you? If so, how many cans?

Yes, I used olive drab rattle cans. It took about 6 or 7 I think. I didn't put on a second coat of olive drab because as you can see from the picture, most of it is covered up by another color.

I took a 86 K-5 full size blazer and kinda did the same thing (rattle can wise that is). Took tape and taped wind shield, turn signals, tail lights and and head lights, thats it, Painted everything else a "sand dune" (that was name of color of paint) color. Old three color blazer with black rims and 3" lift on 33" goodyears looked 100% better. Your job looks really neat, cause ya don't see them very often. Paint the rims black, you will love the look!

I used to hate the old style of military camo but since the introduction of the mossy oak and real tree patterns I've started to get a passion for camo.
Lou you done a really neat job <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />, thanks for posting the pics.

That's the nicest camo job I've ever seen, and I'm not usually a fan.

Seriously awsome. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

Any more pics <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I'm gonna let it dry a few more days, and then head back down to Home Depot to buy some flat sealer.
