the floor boards in my 84 are rusted extremly bad. are there any places on the net that sell replacement floor boards, or could i just weld some new metal in there? getting a diffrent cab would be out of the question since the rest of the body has no rust on it. heres a pic of it, ill have some pics of the floor boards up l8er. any help would be appreciated.

One question would be how bad the rust is. I've heard that people have had good results patching with fiberglass and resin and then coating overtop with RhinoLining, DuraBak, or whatever.

I patched a fist-sized hole where the clutch was leaking and rusted out the floorboard using fiberglass and resin. It has done fine for several years.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
The PO used an old road sign(speed limit 40) to patch the floorboard on my old 4Runner... they are usually pretty well galvanized so they aren't likely to rust. obtaining one legitimately might be tricky, though.

My '86 4Runner went to the bone-yard November 29, 2004 at 10am after roughly 430,000 miles on the original engine and transmission. :-( Looking for something else to wheel in...

If you have a welder, 4 1/2" grinder, or sawzall and money is tight, you can always put to good use an old tailgate thats collecting dust, and its legal to
