'93 Pickup | 22R-E | 2WD| Yeah...it's my daily ride.

A) 2WD, so a lot lighter and a lot less drivetrain loss.
B) I've gotten as good as 22.8 MPG on my carbureted 4x4 87, so 25 isn't that much of a stretch at all.

Not smoking anything...illegal anymore. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> proud of it too

If conditions are right I get above 25 mpg with a 90 4x4 22re. I rebuilt the motor 50k ago, ported polished the head, installed LC Engineering pro EFI camshaft, put a header, free flow exaust and a K&N. I have not done anything to the fuel delivery... yet. According to the plugs it does run a little lean during hot weather, but fine during the winter... and we are just beginning another Michigan winter (suckfest), people in warmer climates have not a clue how lucky they are.

So has anyone else done similar mods?? What are you getting for mileage?? How should I increase the amount of fuel for summer months??
