Getting the Wheeling Fever
I'm doing a little work on my neighbors 90 V6 p-up. The idler arm assembly is pretty loose. I read the bushing replacment write up in maintenance, but it doesn't address the ball joint that connects to the steering link. I appears that most of the "play" is in this ball joint not in just in the idler itself. Is this ball joint replaceable without buying the whole idler assembly? Or do I have to buy the whole thing?

TIA
Carl

Whole thing. It part of the arm. I had to replace mine about 8 months ago. Check the one on the pitman arm also....mine was worn also.....

Roll Me Over
If you can, get a Moog, they are a lot beefier than stock or stock replacement, and will last a lot longer.

More than tread lightly. Leave it like you were never there, nor anyone else.
