So for the past couple of days I hav been hearing a nasty noise from the front of the toy and I found it today. The fan seems to be a bit loose, kind of. The fan is bolted to what I think is the clutch which from what I can see is on a shaft. The fan is secure on the clutch but that whole thing is loose on the shaft. I am going to go look at the Manual to look at the breakdown but if anybody knows what's going on I would appreciate it. I guess it could be the water pump going bad. I am going to go look again. Thanks in advance. Zach

i have a stock clutch fan that is located outside of Syracuse NY that i will sell you for a good price if you end up needing one.
sorry, i don't know if that is what is actually wrong with it or not. i switched mine to an electric because i heard that people had trouble with the stock ones comming apart.

Z, you nor your profile say what engine your talkin bout.
So is it loose on the shaft or is the shaft loose, your description isn't clear. But when you inquire about the water pump, I wonder if your referring to the "fan bracket" that covers the t-belt & circ pump.
If your talkin bout the fan bracket on the 3.0 v6, you can bypass it with the addition of an electric fan, cheapest & best solution imo.

I pulled the fan out this morning and sure enough it was the fan clutch. I found one at a local yard for $45 and I threw it in. I was away from the computer all day today so I didn't get to see the replies until now. Thank you guys. I would like to go to an electric but I didn't have time today to play with it...maybe later this summer! Thanks again! Z
PS. It is the V6 sorry about that!
