I have an Exide Orbital Deep Cycle marine battery under my hood and it's been in place for just under a year now. I have no complaints. It's plenty powerful to power the winch with. In the future I plan on adding a second battery where the headlight washer tank is on the driver's side front under the hood. Yep, I'll probably be gettin' rid of that beautiful feature... that I've never used.

P.S. I would appreciate it if you would kindly resize your avatar to the appropriate 80x80 pixels instead of having the wire's software compress a 2304x1728 pixel 923KB into avatar size. It takes 2.5min for me to load that picture on a 56k dial-up and it has to reload every time.
