I had already spoken to them regarding a group buy on the 10 bolt. It would take a batch of 25 to get a run made. I feel like it would be a lot of work to get that going. Have to have financial commitment up front from alot of folks.

That being said, if we went to Torque master with the same offer, they were already considering designing one for us earlier this year. I think ICURUNNIN and I were mostly getting a feel for the commuinity here and see if enough folks are interested and committed with funds to make the company realize we really do want a specific number of them.

I was very clear to Michael at Powertrax that this was an initial contact to see what the requirements would be for this. He told me 25, and that the list price when it was available was $425. So this would be a $10,000 committment just to get the discontinued one ona a one off type run. He also told me that it would have to be run through a distributor, which I totally understand, but it could be a good deal for a dealer if we do it right and treat the dealer right. Matt or Joe might even front it for us if we treat them right. A $10,000 loss is not what either of them is looking for right now <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I want to get some lockage going, but we have to do it the right way just like everyone is saying. We are asking alot of a company for a market that is fairly specialized and not growing anymore. There are a fixed number of vehicles out there, and as big as we feel we are, Isuzu is a minority.

Just my rambling ideas and opinions
