now to make a business case.............one would need some stats.........so lets get some facts and figures on how many trucks it owould fit. You know like some import numbers or something that shows business potential.

I know you were just using it as an example, but import numbers i doubt will have a strong effect on our case. I think some things that will solidify our proposal:

A) first and foremost, an upfront showing of cash and support for their "test run" - are we really expecting powertrax to create a new line of locker out of one group buy, or to start with a test-batch for economically-devoted enthusiasts

Growth Potential:

B) this is prob proprietary & confidential info, but maybe Rancho / ARB / TJM / Superwinch / Warn / 4 wheel parts etc. have some releasable figures on their sales trends for aftermarket Isuzu-specific products (in comp to other makes) --> i bet this would spark some interest, showing their offroad growth
C) the rising value of used isuzu trucks, i.e. gaining respect, desireability and support in the 4x4 market

I dunno, this is all just stuff off the top of my head, but might help add more meat...

The Biggest plus on our side in my book is that there are other manufacturers in the game now.....especially when they know they are able to offer a lower priced alternative to applications that ARB offers. As well as the fact that there is overseas sales potential.

also serious gearing options like the Tera products make it look like a more "serious" crowd of enthusiasts than maybe it was 5 years ago when the locker was trickling along w/ poor sales.

I hope that this is a tell-tale sign to Powertrax... if companies such as ARB can commit, & profitably too, why shouldnt theirs which would alot cheaper, and a practical (in comparison to ARB) install
