That is awesome. Just the fact that they are looking at the third gives me quite a bit of confidence that they will make it. I'm stoked.

Let there be afforable lockers for the 12 bolt!

I agree, good news...

Wow, I quit reading for a few months, and look what happens!! Put me down for one, even if i have to sell a body part. I may be able to swing 2 by the time they get here.

I am definately interested if the price is not too high. This is my first post and you guys have a great site here.

Matt, do you run the independant 4X site? Friend of mine that you may know just ordered my Warn manual lockers from you a couple weeks ago. A guy named Hector.

oh yeah....welcome.

I am the owner of Independent4x.com

the lockright is a very affordable locker option, that is one of the big reasons this will be a great product to have available for Isuzu.

thanks again for the order and for jumping in on this.

there really is a lot that goes into something like this. we are talking about the developmant of a completely new product.

it goes something like this:

propose the product to the company (i did this in Feb. 2004)
convince then to listen to the proposal - [pronounced "$$$$" (2/04-Dec/04)]
convince that person to take it to a higher Corp. level
convince that person to take it to engeneering for design
delivery of factory parts for the design phase
design and draw
tooling
create prototype or 2
testing - actual install in a truck
production
Dealer (me) has to buy the run
shipment to dealer
payment by customers
invoicing/packing/shipping to customers

etc.
etc.
etc.

(and that is REALLY simplifying it to say the least.)

you get the point. this is not something that someone in their garage "fabs up" over the weekend.

there have been guys out there (in isuzu land) trying to get this thing made for years. There was a big push made on this about 4 or 5 years ago that ended in NO LOCKER.

the fact that this has progressed to where it is today is a huge success already.

i am having weekly phone conversations with "sales managers" and engineers.

Not to mention that i have a Fully revised Application guide for isuzu "LockRights and Noslips" on my desk.

honestly this IS moving Quickly

We are all excited and impatient........i ma certianly not picking on you Chase, just elaborating on the process.

the ultimate success of this project goes back to "$$$$" ..........when the time comes you guys have to open up the wallet and show Powertrax just how important this is to you. Simple economics.

Yeah, what Matt said, and all the support that we can get is definitely gonna help this out.

Matt, have they said anything about the 10 bolt run? That one is a lot less of a process, and more of a $$$$$$ thing.

THe thing is that we are going to have to be ready to Pony up when the time comes. MAtt can't buy $10000 worth of lockers to sit in his inventory. KEep in mind I made up that number, so it could be more or less, but the key is that if we don't support Matt, Matt has nothing to finish the process with.

So let's keep positive and as patient as we can be. I am going wheeling next weekend, so I know that will not help the patience part for me :>

And Matt, thanks for all the hard work on the application guide for the lockers.

I know it take longer than this..we talked about the process already..I was just stating..."too bad this cant move faster".... thats all...

I am being patient, as I couldnt put it in until April/May timeframe...

So.. I was just adding pointless ramble....

Matt, have you spoken with them since they have looked at the third member? Just checking on things, trying to be patient.
