Body Damage is Cool
OK i give up, getting a headache from scanning the 19 pages of posts, what is the estimate on how much this thing will be? I'd love to get one, but money is a serious issue for us students. I seemed to pick up that its a $150ish upfront payment right? or am i wrong?

Thanks

Nick

SORRY for the lack of UPDATE on this guys,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,i have been doing a lot of behind the scenes work on this, and have not really had any news to relay.

<img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" /> wrong....... sorry there are no $150 lockers.

an Isuzu lock right was $365 3-4 years ago when it was in full production.

i am still running the numbers on this....i now have all the quotes and info from the manufacturer that i need to finalize this deal.

this thing is still rolling and i am very hopeful that it can be a reality.

i think what we are looking at as a REALISTIC price points in these is going to be in the $400.00+ range each unit, but i will be finalizing those numbers over the next couple weeks.

the 10 bolt will be very close, and the 12 may be slightly over that.

PRODUCTION TIME????? you ask............we are probably looking at the end of the year for delivery ........ once everyone has put down their cash.

OK....................so is everybody still in???????????

Sorry by upfront I meant downpayment.

400+ is out of my range for a while, but maybe someday.

ah sorry i mis-read your post................i see you were saying you were thinking it was a "deposit" and not the total cost.

i am talking total cost, and have not thought about "deposits" yet.

just so we are clear.

As long as this has been dragging on, I wonder if it is time for the serious men to make the necessary phone calls and put down some money??

My money is down, I would really like to have one and it all hinges on what the rest of you men do money wise.

We don't want to lose the manufacturer's interest. JMHO
