Just a reminder... this thread is not to be turned into a "for sale" forum. We have a place for that... ironically enough called the Private Party - For Sale forum. Additionally, any personal communications or info not related to this product need to be handled via PM and new threads, respectively. Having to close this whole thread because a few people can't behave would make me sad

I am still excited, but it has been three months and no update. I have bought a popup trailer and need regeared, would like to do the locker at the same time .

[color:"red"] bottom line on this deal is that we need a minimum of 50 units of each part Pre-sold to even think about this as a reality................for the 10 bolt and 12 bolt [/color]
I don't think we are there folks. And keep in mind, even with this number of units, they will probably be fairly expensive compared to say a d44 or toyota unit. The fixed cost (r&d, tooling, testing, etc) will be the same--ie, a LOT--no matter the number of units made. only a larger number of orders will bring the price down. I would love to see these hit the market. I think it would do a lot to grow our corner of the offroad market. but the price of pioneering is expensive, and you have to ask yourself how much you are willing to pay and how long you are willing to wait.

WEll, my opinion is that this situation is gonna be the same now or 5 years from now. Isuzu is not increasing the number of these axles in the market anymore. If we REALLY want it to happen, and by we I mean lots of us, we can make it happen. But it is gonna have to be an effort by all that I don't see happening. 10 or 12 people can only make it happen by purchasing 5 each of these lockers.
Do we want to get to a put up or shut up state???? Matt, you are steering this thing, do we want to move forward, or just stick with ARB and Lincoln as our locker options???
Everytime someone welds up, we lose a potential locker sale.

matthew on
12/06/04 i'll take this on, no sweat, but remember we are conservatively talking months (possibly a year) on this to make it a reality. 05/23/05 PRODUCTION TIME????? you ask............we are probably looking at the end of the year for delivery ....... Still could be on schedule . Really this what I expected based on our Tera 5.38 experience. Not complaining, just trying to plan my winter. But I am hoping for good news from the SEMA show. If it helps the cause, I'm in for 2 12 bolts.
