Body Damage is Cool
I'm so used to my welded diff now that I don't really notice it anymore. And there no clicking noise. I'd still buy one if it came onto the market though(lockright that is)

Getting the Wheeling Fever
I could go for this if it came to fruition. Sticky mud + open diffs = stuck! (or almost so far anyway). I can handle a little clicking in the back for some stickin' in the muck...

Err... that sounds... nevermind.

How different is the 12 bolt Isuzu powertrax from other applications?

Any two lockers of the same manufacturer from one application to the next can only have a few things different in terms of dimensions. I am thinking:

1. Axle shaft diameter & spline count
2. width
3. cross pin diamter
4. overall size (obviously a 1-ton one won't fit)

What else is there on these devices that makes an "Isuzu 12 bolt" locker any different than any other application? Is there anything preventing someone from trying to retrofit another application's locker into the 12 bolt carrier by cutting new splines and milling out the ends for the Isuzu axles? Maybe inserting some spacers to take up width. Maybe swapping in another set of rear axleshafts of similair width? I've only seen one of these lockers up close so I'm not all that familiar with them.
