As all of you know, the stock Tacoma rear springs suck...

I had three reasons to go with the Deaver springs:

1. Allow for an expedition load of 600-800 lbs over stock
2. Center the rear axle in the wheel well to allow my 255/85 R16 tires to fit (33.1" actual height)
3. Provide 2" of lift for additional body clearance on the trail

Well, the springs worked great, and took care of all of the above issues. The truck also rides much better now as the springs resistance through the travel range is much more constant, as opposed to the stock springs which are dual stage (overload). These springs also took care of the axle wrap, and have military wrapped ends.

I also installed a set of longer 5100 shocks in the rear to let the springs flex a little more. I am happy with the result.
