am I seeing things or is that an adjustable cam pulley you have on there?

what is the difference between the 2.3 & 2.6 flywheels? Fidanza lists every Zu application except a 2.6 and cross-referencing with standard replacement parts shows a different part#.

Yeah, it's an adjustable cam sprocket. I had it custom made here on island by a local welding/machine shop. I drew out all the schematics and had them fabricate it. It gives me roughly 5 degrees both ways. Not to shabby for 60 bucks. Even I was shocked when they accomplished the task.

I used an '85-'89 impulse turbo model flywheel and clutch pack with the stock throwout bearing. As for the flywheel differences i'm sure this mod will work on the 2.6 if the input shafts on the trans are the same as the 2.3, I can't remember if the input shafts or disc diameter are different. I know it's one of the two that's why clutch parts are different part #'s. I know for sure the 2.3 or 2.6 clutch pack will not bolt up on the turbo flywheel. The guys at F5performance has the flywheels in stock(i think). At the time they had it listed on ebay and I got a real good deal on it. I paid $280 plus shipping. I believe they make a lightened flywheel for the 2.6 anyway. I saw it at paeco.com on the closeout rack check it out! I couldn't use that setup (2.6) cause then I'd have to run the 2.6 clutch and trans and that's more weight cause of the T-case. Good luck!
