They almost look like dual 2-bbl carbs from Weber, or Edlbrock, etc. Alot of import car tuners are using them, Civics, Celicas etc. Madcat <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Yep, they look just like the side-draft Webers that youÆd find in place of the old Solexs, on a tweaked MG. It never even occurred to me that you could use them on an Isuzu 4-banger. û Cool! '92 4ZD1 p-up 2wd built summer of '99. Daily driver since then(no strip to run)...(not anymore )
Did 4 passes @ our new drag strip. Best e.t. 17.00 @ 76 mph on nankang 195/50r15 street tires.
Specs:
Stock bottom end & drivetrain//3 angle valve grind//port & polished head//284-dur 468-lift Isky regrind cam//MSD 6AL & blaster2 coil//Calmini headers w/edelbrock RPM series 2 1/2 muffler//dual mikuni 44's//
Like I said all these mods were done back in '99 and only october of this year I finally got the chance to make a few passes. I need the Forged pistons since it's time to rebuild and in the event I wanna spray I don't have to go back in the operating room...

at first glance I thought it was a quad TB setup & got quite excited, but then noted the absence of fuel rail & injectors. still cool though, nice work. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

UPDATE! UPDATE! Done, installing an 8.5lb Fidanza flywheel! Holy ***** this baby got revs! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/notooth.gif" alt="" /> Redline @ 7100 rpm!! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/nana.gif" alt="" /> I just hope this timing belt holds up to the job... Speaking of timing belts, any high grade belts on the market???
