Ideally you should have been tracking mpg to be able to figure this out on your own, but........

On my 94 V6 AT, I found the sweet spot was around 2700-2800 rpm for best mpg. Lower rpms (2100 or so) for some reason resulted in poorer mpg. Check it out before you go, if you can.
