"Yeah you don't want it to get bent!"

Jeepete, I guess you don't believe the Hi-lifts can get bent . . . I had to borrow another guys Hi-lift several years ago to change out a tire on the trail. He had mounted the Hi-lift on the front bumper and subsequently hit a large boulder for one reason or another; the front bumper and the hi-lift had a substantial bow in them. It was a bit tenuous with the Jeep up in the air, teetering back and forth, with this bowed hi-lift binding somewhat with each crank of the jack-handle! However, I got the tire changed-out without any problems.
