BJ, now you must be joking. I've never lived on a farm so I've rarely used my "tractor jack" on any thing but a Jeep. The OE scissor jack is pretty much just ballast since the lift.
Fred,yes, I know they're not indestructable and I'm sure any passengers and I would be marginally safer in the event of a rollover if it were bolted down. Don't forget the toolbox, cooler, spare parts, snatch block and those planks for putting under the jack in mud.
