Big tires and the factory camber angle are a bad mix. I set mine to 0? and signifigantly reduced the rolling resistance.

The other issue is the auto tranny and tall tires. The lockup converter helps a lot.

I have also found that a bad O2 sensor, coolant temp sensor, air temp sensor or a bad vacume advance will all hurt your fuel economy.

Right now with 31's and a turbo I get in the 15 - 16 mpg on mixed mostly city driving.

Mine fuel economy was quite low before I fixed everything. Also I got the exact same fuel economy beetween the turbo and the carb motor despite the extra power. It seems the fule injection when working right does help.

And of course... you may need a bit more gear with those 35" tires..not that you want to hear that.
