Wyleone,
I have a Toyota 8". I should have gotten a later model which is wider, but did not know the difference. I had Reider put in 4.56 gears with the Detroit soft locker. Reasonably close to the 4.62 in the front. I keep the newer, bigger tires in the front. I had to weld on new spring perches on the bottom of the Toy axle and drill new holes in the yoke plate on the drive shaft. I got a hydraulic line lock from J C Whitney for the emergency breaks. Not a difficult job. That was 8 years ago and it still works fine. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />
