Hi,
I've been doing some searching around for a good set of brakes since my rotors are warped (vibrating when i brake). I have been reading on Gadget's website and he recommends the performence friction pads from autozone and the powerslot rotors. I did a search on the forum for this topic and it has gotten me a little confused. I've heard a a few people use the term "brembo powerslotted rotors". I did a search online and found that the only places that offered slotted rotors, physically slot the rotors themselves because the original brembos only come nonslotted and nondrilled. Is this true? Or am i missing something?

Also, a couple of questions on the lifetime pads offered by performance friction. I keep hearing that they are "lifetime" free replacement because of their warranty. But i did a search on autozone.com for the 96 landcruiser part # 5024 and it says only a 2 year warranty. Is this a typo or did i miss something here as well?

One last thing... i dont want to start another debate here. But slotted? or crossdrilled?

I think i've been hearing more recommendations for slotted since crossdrilled supposedly reduces the amount of surface area for braking.

thanks
