And to make things more unclear, assuming you end up with 16" wheels, you will be able to run 265/75's without a lift. This is very common. You will likely experience the slightest of rubbing, though.

Most 265/75's are 31's, though generally considered 32's for some reason. Most are exactly 2" shorter than their 285/75 counterpart. And, 285/75's are not 34's.

All 285/75's are narrower than a 32x11.50

First things first, get the 4Runner, then think about the tires.
