Getting the Wheeling Fever
I have a '99 Dodge 2500 4x4 quad cab diesel. At 11000 miles (now has 110000) the steering gear was replaced under warranty. Shortly after the truck began to wander or road walk. The dealer replaced the gear 2 more times, rebuilt the front end completely (uppper and lower ball joints, tie rod ends, etc) yet it continued to road walk and difficult to drive. Has any one experienced this problem or similar conditions and if so what is the fix

Willie

Roll Me Over
Check the track bar. It's the rod that runs parallel to the front axle. The ends are very prone to wearing out.

My dad's '96 has gone through two allready and the third is coming soon. I saved one of the old ones and plan to make it so that it can have replacable ends.
