Phil/Ray,

I was just thinking about this some more and I think we're suggesting two ideas here. One, is to put a document in the tech forum that greets newbies and has links to the archive to help them with frequently asked questions. Second, I think folks are suggesting that we put a Table of Contents and Index on the Archive to make it easier to navigate.

The second is a big job, but it looks like we already have some volunteers. I'm willing to help gather up the links too.

Will be stickying this. Don't you worry. My idea (only because Phil, Doug & Myself haven't talke about it yet) is to take the FACT's (no put intended) from this post and summarize it in a "FAQ" sticky which we'll lock it so we don't get a bunch of distracting replies/comments.

Definitely keep contributing though because as necessary, we'll update it as we learn more.

I'm thinking that it will probably go in the Archives section with a pointer to the FAQ stickie at the top of the tech section.

Great effort all <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />!! Keep it up. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

My 2 cents - this could be broken up into 2 or 3 parts

BHP - British HorsePower

So this means that RHD Monteros are rated in BHP and LHD are rated in both AHP (American horse power) and CHP (Canadian horse power). <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I'll stop now <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif" alt="" />

Guys, I have been trying for 4 years to organize and document some of this info (as evidenced by the tech section), as have many of you on this forum. I think its AWESOME that everyone is pulling together on this. I still think it can use the tech section as a backbone, just give me a day to figure out how to "put a good face on it" as someone already said. You guys are right: We have tons of info here, we just need to put it into an easily accessible format.

In the meantime, keep the ideas coming. I am really liking how this is going...

Thanks fellas,
PHIL
