FedEx will only take packages up to 70 pounds for residential delivery. Up to 150 pounds for businesses. UPS will take up to 150 pounds business or residential. They both offer truck freight shipping also. I agree with 4crawler about Forward Air, they are cheap, but you will have to drop off and pick up at the air terminal. With most truck shipping companies if you set up an account with them you can get a discount for the shipping. Most will let you do this and it is usually free. It is usually a lot cheaper for you if you and the recipient are willing to drop off/pick up from the truck terminals. Savings can be significant as most outfits charge for residential delivery (sometimes as much as 100.00 at each end if residential with liftgate). They will also sometimes charge to use a liftgate at a business if you can't unload yourself. I have used USF Holland/USF Dugan and I believe they have terminals in Michigan. Best bet would be to look in the Yellow Pages and call the different companies that are close to you and see which is cheapest and easiest for you.
Hope this helps,
Mike
