That red RS from New Orleans is back on Ebay : 89 RS Trooper
Sure is purty, if I could fit in a first gen Trooper I would bid, but I can't.

I'd love to have it, but I'd have to get rid of mine first.

Anyone want a '91 Trooper II wth some (very) minor rust issues and 104,000 miles on the clock?

EDIT: Yep. Just talked to the boss; she's not going for it. I suppose I could just ignore her and buy it anyway, but then I'd be a dozen differnet kinds of hurtin'.

Is that a stock interior? As in color and seats?

I'm only 6'3" which isn't Shaq-like by any means...but all I know is when I "test-sat" an 89 RS Trooper locally, with the seat all the way back my knees were under an inch from the dash, and my shin would hit a lower ledge on the dash when I went for the gas or the brakes...it just wasn't workable. 2nd gens are much roomier.

Funny - I'm 6'3" and have a first gen and fit better in it than any other car I've ever been in. In fact, I really like how much head- and legroom my truck gives me.

Mebbe I have extra-long femurs or something it surprised the heck out of me. I double checked to make sure the seat was all the way back...

I wonder how easy/practical it'd be to make the seat go to where you need it (move the bracket or something?)
May sound silly, but I think it'd be worth it for that thar red RS in Nawlins.

Hmm, im 6'2 and i fit perfectly in my trooper with the seat almost all the way up... maybe you do have longer femurs...

I think i could learn to cram into that sweet little truck. Large tire package and everything. I especially like the interior.
