just be aware of the duty cycle. Like I said before these DO NOT have an automatic shut off like the good welders do. If you're not paying attention you WILL smoke the thing.

Would it help any if i put a fan by it to blow the heat away thus increasing the duty cycle??

Rob already said it. There is NOTHING you can do to increase the duty cycle of the machine. There are a few things you can do to prevent the smoke from escaping prematurely, but it will not change the duty cyle.

Would a fan help? Maybe. Heat build up is a part of the equation, but so are materials, wire gauge, build quality ect ect.
