I am finally to the point that I am needing a winch for the front of my 83. I am going on just word of mouth here but what I have heard is that Warn is the $hinit but they cost a pretty penny. Milemarker is a accident waiting to happen. I have no info on Ramsey or Superwinch though. I have done some research and I like the Superwinch EP 9000 lb series. This would easily pull the toy through tellico. Any one else have good winch input????

I have a superwinch x9 (since 96) that has never failed me to date. I have had it on 4 different trucks. Superwinch is one of the best, not the fastest, but that matters not when you are pulling.

Toyotas do not need winches, unless you run with a lot of Jeeps!!!! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> Superwinch is a good winch, even though I have a Warn, I have had a few problems with it mostly the brake.I doubt that I would buy another!!!!
