I have to wait until Monday to call the dealer, but someone notified me that as of 2000 or 2001, the traditional gear code is meaningless anyway - everything is B07A.

The gear code is in the 14-digit string above the gear, tranny, trim, paint code, usually starting with an R.

Not sure if this is true, so FWIW............
