Eli... I think the true clerance is about 1" to 2".. But you can only gain so much with the design of the drivetrain anyway. However, you do get one hell of a protected drvetrain.. I very much like the skidplate and just how much it covers the transfercase. Here in Mass we are so limited with lift laws, I think anything over a 1" body lift would make my truck too high now.
