And hate to correct you Lee but this is a new design for V6 ONLY! The 4 Cyl one and all the dual case versions are the same as they always have been. They give the same great protection they always have. The problem with the V6s, as has already been noted, is the Tcase hangs WAY down compared to a 4 Cyl one. (1.7" more actually) The new crossmember gives the same clearance as a 4 cyl crossmember from the middle of the truck on out on the driver's side. But it drops down and wraps around the tcase on the other side. Much more work to build but gives good protection and smooth ramps to make it over the rocks and stumps.
Lee has a 5 speed and the skidplate for the Automatics covers all the way to the bellhousing like this:

Officially, there is one other V6 single case crossmember out there but Allen would have to tell us where it is now!
