I agree, I hope your pulling our chain.

What was the reason for going for six inches? If you want to run big tires, which the truck really isnt geared for, why not make the wheel wells bigger.

The truck is still lacks the ground clearance of a nice suspension lift, not it just is more top heavy.

To each their own, but 6 inches!!!:8

No, not really. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/sleeping.gif" alt="" />

I've never met anyone, who actually wheels, that ever even thought about a 6" body lift.

Two MRI's and a CAT scan....it's confirmed. I'm just not right in the head.

No it does not reach through the floor and yes this is a joke, sorry I couldn't resist.
The rest of this story.

We lifted this off by hand it was unbeleivably heavy. Way heavier than any of us six guys intiial though.

We got it on the ground and started to lose steam because I wanted to put in the backyard about 80 yards away. We where saved by using a huge cart I had stashed in the back. We stuck the body on the cart and rolled it down the driveway through the street and over the lawn into the backyard.

I have a ton of work to do on this thing with a bunch of new parts including that V6 trans. And maybe a nice coilover setup???

Thank God. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" />

I really like everything else you've done to the truck, but I was biting my tongue (fingers in this case) to keep from posting something.

Just for the record - 6" is too much body lift. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/zombie.gif" alt="" />

87 Montero, bought new, by me -
88/89 intercooled Starion Turbo engine-
with awesome audio.
