Mine turns black after a few hundred miles and I use 1/2 quart every 500 miles <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> but I have 182,000. I'm using castrol 20-50 and a vavoline oil treatment now and then.

I think next year will be quality rebuild time <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
