Mainly for liability and "just in case" comfort. California requires brakes when the GW is 1500 lbs or something like that. I plan on hauling 1 ton machinery, making the trailer about 3250 lbs.

Anyway, I bought a Tekonsha Sentinel... prodigy was overkill for a 6x12 tandem axle trailer. 10" drum brakes.

Now I have a question... is the left-hand brake on the driver's side? Just making sure I got my left and right while facing in the correct direction.

Also, the brakes have two green wires... do I connect one to the blue wire of the controller and one to the chassis of the trailer? Thanks!
