ive had a red top for a couple years, i was out wheeling one weekend and the thing slipped off the tray and was resting against the pulley and when i got home i found a 3 three inch long gash ( <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> , heheh) IN THE BATTERY, its about half an inch deep.

obviously this thing is oxidizing or whatever, losing charge so i had to replace it - kirkland style.

can i mend this battery using JB weld or something that wont be eaten by the acid? seems like a shame to toss a $100 dollar battery that has ten more years of life to it?

thanks
