Foyoto, More info on your 5.0 swap please! I was thinking that same engine just because it is about 100 pounds lighter than the 350. Did you have to relocate the radiator? I know the 5.0 is a little longer than the chevy motor. Any details you could provide would be great! Thanks!
Sorry it took me so long to respond. The radiator is in the stock location. I used a 3 row V6 with a 2000cfm pusher fan in front of it. No room for a mechanical Fan. So far no cooling problems at all. I had to do some sheet metal releiving behind the exhaust manifolds for clearance. If I do this again I think I'll try the 5.0 or 5.7 chevy TBI with 4L60E and see how it fits. The only problem I have is that in overdrive the spud shaft in the adapter seems to chatter when I let off the gas or am coasting.
