You know you're a madman when you own a 4 wheeled cart to put a suspensionless truck on.

looks good man!!!! How hard would it be to add pockets, like the pocket style bushwackers??? They look realy good man.

Not sure what you mean here. I don't think I will ever do anything different to these. The bushwackers that you can get for the trooper are a nice set of flairs. The diference between the mine set and the bushwackers are...
Mine...
Bolt though the top of the flair from the underneath so you don't see any bolts.
They stick ou a full 2.5 inches.
They are made out of fiberglass and if need to be can be patch by darn near everyone.
Direct bolt on and trim your fender to match and you can bolt on 35 inch tire.

The bushwackers...
1"-3" of coverage, (depending on make and model)Which I have never heard of anyone getting tree inches out of them on a trooper.
They attach with the pop-rivet fasteners From under the bottom of the flair. Which actualy closes in your wheel well.
I am sure there is more however I have never seen them in person.

Hope this helps.

Later,
Daniel

Daniel first off those look great, i have a set of bushwackers on my 88 trooper with a straigt axle and 35in tires they do not stick out far enough, i like the look but i think i would perfer a little more flare. From your pictures i can't really tell how or if the rear door opens with the rear flare mounted? could you post a picture of the rear door or explain the rear flare mount. And for what it's worth that is a good price on a set of flares. Don

Yeah man they looks great. On the bushwackers, i was talking about the pockets where the screws attach to the finder. Anyway yours flairs look good as they are know. How do you think they would fit on my trooper? I have a safari snorkle so it might be a tight fit. Anyway if it looks like they will fit good i'll probably get some when i'm done installing my 5.38's. heres a pic of where the snorkle's at.Thanks man. And I just want to say...thats a badass trooper you have man! even more so after your done with the sas.

Yeah that is the problem with a mold you cann't ajust the size. I went with something I thought would be the most usefull size. When I first bolted these on to my trooper I thought they stuck out way to far but they look good to me.

Here you go this is the rear door...
[Linked Image] [Linked Image] [Linked Image] [Linked Image]

I wanted to make it just as easy as I could to keep the cost down. They will be ship with straight primmer and all you will have to do is light sand and paint. I am going to have mine sprayed by Line X. The rear turn out pretty good I think.
I still have alittle work to do on the other side. I should have all the molds ready by the end of this month. So as soon as we get anough people I will start the parts. I can break this down however you want...
5 to 9 sets sell for --------- 375.00
10 to 14 sets sell for ------- 300.00
15 or more sets sell for------ 260.00

As you can see the more sets we make at a time the more money it saves us. I am not tring to make a killing here just tring to make some parts that look pretty good for our troopers. And like was said before if these take off where I feel like I could justified spending the time and the money to make the molds. I will be making more parts for other izusu.

Later,
Daniel

They look like the lines blend in like they belong. You say they will fit the 2-door. You will make the rear flares one piece then? Count me in especially if we can get the price down with more interest.

Yeah the rear mold is a one peice mold I just slide an insert down in it to make it a two piece mold. Here is what the rear one peice looks like this is the plug that I made the mold off of. [Linked Image]

Those look great, all i have to do is convince the wife to spend the money on another set of flares, since she got the bushwackers for me as b-day present. Looking at your design i would rather have a set of your flares. Good luck on your sales. Don
