Thanks for the quick reply. To answer your question: when I rev it up, the it just revs up normally like it was in neutral. So I assume from what you are saying,it is not using the transmission. sounds like the transfer case. Are there anymore visual checks I can do on the drive plates spoken of prior to this before I go ahead and pull that transfer case? I think I will start on it this Saturday. Hope I can return the favor sometime for all this advice you have given me. Ryan
