Well I managed to get it done yesterday. I actually went with Plan A... insert a piece of 2" square tube from the back side and beat the blue hot hell out of it with a sledge. My main reason for going this route is I don't have a tow chain, just a recovery strap that I thought would be too elastic to work well. I stopped by Pacific Industrial Supply and got a 12" length of 2" square tube for a whopping $3. It took about 30 minutes of hammering to get it out. Today I cleaned everything up with some files, wire wheel & some naval jelly, tomorrow will repaint, GREASE IT UP, and reassemble. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
