Desha, how did the fact that you have a sister who might be interested in wheeling somehow elude us all these years?

Because she doesn't wheel. She just wants to join us in Moab

Besides she lived way up north in Boston. Never even owned a car most the time. Been working on her hubbie to look into a Trooper for thier next vehicle thoug, so maybe she'll catch the bug at Zu Zoo

There are many trooper gals and even more Isuzu chicks.
We just don't post as much since it's more fun to read the struttings of males.

That's all too true, Desha!

As nice as the Trooper is, I still hope to be back in the seat of the Amigo this year for Moab. Perhaps my sister may try driving the Troop this time around, so yo can add another gal at the helm.

That would be great if your sister came out - one more gal to get bitten by the bug!

Sue, the Trooper from Portland, quit wheeling a while ago, unfortunatly - she was a lot of fun to go out with... she'd try anything!

I've got some great pics if I could just figure out how to post them...

I have a 1999 Trooper, at least so far. My experiences with the "Check Engine" warning has me wondering for how long. It's been an almost annual trip to the dealership service department. Each time a different diagnosis. I'm thinking a stick of dynamite may be the only cure.
Except for this problem I do really like the vehicle.

Hey Minnesota! Do you go off road at all? ZuZoo VIII comin' up (hint, hint, there have only been two of us from MN there the last 4 years...) I used to take my 99 Trooper off road some, before it got wrecked.

Yeah those CE lights are a pain...unless it was flashing I would usually wait a while before going in to the dealer, sometime they go off by themselves. Or, sometimes the service counter techs would just clear the codes for me and see if they re-occured...many times they did not. Gotta love OBD II

Not so much anymore. Did when we were young. Started out with a Scout. Remember going up a very steep hill that my husband's friend chickened out of the ride. It was fun. Pretty much are into quads now. We have land up North so still need 4 x 4 for the clay. Will probably always be 4 x 4 snobs. They are sure nice when Minnesota gets hit hard and for those back country roads.
We'll see what happens now that the check engine light has been serviced for what should be almost everythng.
