S skoyboy35 OP Need a Spot I have an 87 4Runner 22re 5 speed. When I am on a highway or going uphill and I shift into 4th gear I stop accellerating and the rpm's rev way up if I give it too much gas. The same happens in 5th gear. A friend of mine told me it had to do with my clutch? Does anyone have any input as to what is wrong and how I can fix this problem? Any input will be greatly appreciated!
