I don't think it is the lever(fresh/recycle) because I can hear the noise it makes upon a switch. Plus there is a difference in air when it is in the recycle mode as opposed to the fresh mode.

I just went ouside and checked the floor and it is dry, but it is real cold out and I did not want to be out there too long. I will have to go check again after I put on more layers of clothing(-10? wind chill).

This is probably an expensive fix isn't it(if it is the heater core).
