Try running the A/C (if u have it) at the same as the heated defrost. It will reduce the humidity especially with the fresh air setting.

Spoken like a true California boy <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/pfft.gif" alt="" /> ...at +5 degrees F there isn't any moisture in the air to speak of, the dewpoint is well below freezing. So there has to be an internal source of moisture...the only source in the passenger compartment in winter is the heater core...or heavy breathing <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/zombie.gif" alt="" />
