Wayne, with those instructions, I'm a lot more worried about the words that will come FROM his mother! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

It happens after driving awhile. How much is "awhile"? Does it coincide with the arrival of warm air from the system? It might just be that the cold air (until the heat starts flowing) doesn't pick up the moisture like the warmer air does. And maybe the leak is very small, so you are not seeing puddles anywhere.

If the fog is from your heater core than it will leave a greasy film on the windows, and about the time the engine warmes up and coolant starts to build pressure you will just barely smell coolant.
This isn't a fool proof way to identify the prob but its a pretty good way to know where to start.

Thanks for all the tips everybody,
Well I can't find a leak or any thing so that is good. It may be just the snow and water on the floor from my boots doing it, but I am still leary. But untill I find more proof anything is wrong I will assume it is fine(heck, that has never done me any good before). Also I do not smell anything either, but I wouldn't bet on me being able to notice a smell either.
I think I will try the 0 W30 because my oil consumption seems to be up in the past week due to the cold.
Thanks again, Marc

If you have AC and you are running it along with the heater it will suck the moisture out of the air. If the AC shuts off for some reason (maybe due to low pressure from the cold or high pressure from the heater?)it will instanly fog your windows.
